Basic Hebrew Teaching Program

This program is designed for the teaching and learning of basic Hebrew once a week for 1 hour.

A total of 24 lessons: divided into 4 lessons per month.

Month 1: Introduction and Fundamentals

Lesson 1: The Hebrew Alphabet

- Content: Presentation of the 22 letters and their sounds.

Lesson 2: Vowels and Pronunciation

- Content: Introduction to vowels and how they combine with consonants.

Lesson 3: Greetings and Introductions

- Content: Basic phrases for greeting and introducing oneself.

Lesson 4: Numbers from 1 to 10

- Content: Learning the numbers and counting objects.

Month 2: Basic Expressions and Vocabulary

Lesson 5: Colors

- Content: Names of colors and identification activities.

Lesson 6: Days of the Week

- Content: Learning the days and how to use them in sentences.

Lesson 7: Common Phrases

- Content: Useful phrases for daily life.

Lesson 8: Family and Relationships

- Content: Vocabulary related to family.

Month 3: Verbs and Basic Structures

Lesson 9: Common Verbs (Part 1)

- Content: Introduction to basic verbs in the present tense.

Lesson 10: Common Verbs (Part 2)

- Content: Continuation with more verbs and conjugations.

Lesson 11: Basic Questions

- Content: How to formulate simple questions.

Lesson 12: Food and Drink

- Content: Vocabulary related to food and beverages.

Month 4: Conversation and Practice

Lesson 13: Everyday Conversations

- Content: Dialogue exercises and practice.

Lesson 14: Clothing and Fashion

- Content: Vocabulary about clothing and accessories.

- Content: Vocabulary about places and directions.

Lesson 16: Leisure Activities

- Content: Vocabulary about hobbies and activities.

Month 5: Culture and Context

- Content: Vocabulary and meaning of the holidays.

- Content: Introduction to Israeli music and dances.

- Content: Summary of the history of Israel.

Month 6: Review and Advanced Practice

Lesson 21: Vocabulary Review

- Content: Review of all the vocabulary learned.

Lesson 22: Advanced Conversation

- Content: Exercises for more complex conversations.

Lesson 23: Games and Activities

- Content: Games to practice Hebrew in a fun way.

Lesson 24: Final Assessment and Closure

- Content: Assessment of progress and course closure.
